The Bears went to England to try and give a game away. Tamps Bay just did not want this victory.
The St. Louis Cardinals 0 Texas Rangers 4; The World Series stands at 2 games apiece.
Fried bologna is really pretty good, I just don’t like frying meat that has a name, O-S-C-A-R M-A-Y-E-R. it could also spelled P-R-E-S-I-D-E-N-T 0-B-A-M-A or H-E-R-M-A-N C-A-I-N.
Baloney is one word for whatever comes out of the mouth of Hernan Cain. Apparently tired of lying to everyone he spoke to and every interviewer that asked him about 9-9-9, Cain has dramatically changed course. He will never admit it but he is now proposing higher taxes and more regulations.
Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain is redefining his signature "9-9-9" tax plan, which would have meant a tax increase for more than four out of five Americans.
Cain on Friday proposed what he calls "opportunity zones" to help spur neighborhoods in need of a jolt. Cain spoke in front of an old train depot in Detroit that saw its last passenger in 1988. Cain says sites such as that one would find a second life under his economic plan.
Cain also proposed that some economically depressed areas could win exemptions from zoning and building codes. He says minimum wage laws could be waived to give more people jobs.
And he's proposing new tax brackets to reflect different income levels.
This guy is making a mistake every time he opens his mouth. It is OK to be a Washington outsider but you should know how our government works and what the basic laws are. The GOP candidate told Christian Broadcasting Network that he would sign a constitutional amendment banning abortion.
"I feel that strongly about it. If we can get the necessary support and it comes to my desk I’ll sign it. That’s all I can do. I will sign it," he said. Unfortunately for Cain, the president doesn't sign constitutional amendments. In fact, he plays essentially no role in the process. This is not something you should learn on the job. We already have a President learning as he goes and that is not working out too well.
Talk about an optimist, Vice President Joe Biden wouldn't rule out the possibility he could make a run for the White House in 2016 on Sunday morning. During an appearance on CNN's "State of the Union," Biden said that he's currently focused on President Barack Obama's reelection effort ahead of 2012, but "not closing any door" on vying for the presidency himself down the line.
"I'll make up my mind on that later," he said.
The 68-year-old vice president told CNN's Candy Crowley that he's probably in the best shape of his life and enjoying his job. "I wouldn't have run for president in the first place and I don't think the president would have picked me unless he thought I'd be good at the job," Biden said. The former U.S. senator from Delaware ran in the 2008 race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
I sincerely hope Biden is the punch line to a cocktail party joke in 2013 and beyond. He should spend his later years promoting his book and speaking on the rubber chicken tours.
