That is in addition to the blogs and websites listed below. They do not all include this blog material but they all have my original writings or ramblings.

Just so we all have this right, going into yesterday’s game, the Detroit Lions were 2 and 30 the last two seasons. They had not won on the road in over two seasons. They were playing on the road, in Chicago. The Chicago Bears had over nine months to prepare for this game. With all that going for the Bears, it took a pathetic call, based on an ill-conceived rule, in the final thirty seconds for the Bears to win the game. The fact the receiver was not credited with a reception at the end of the game does not wash away the fact the Detroit Lions marched the ball to the end zone with under two minutes left in the game to get into a position to win.

At least the Northern Illinois Huskies won, as did the Fighting Illini and Northwestern.

Did you notice the world did not end this week-end, even though several people went ahead and burned Korans. Boy, I know I was worried.

The White House has neglected to address the killings of two American soldiers in Iraq last week. Presumably, these were non-combat troops. They are still dead. They are still heroes. Where are the Secretary of Defense and the White House bragging about pulling all our troops out of Iraq? The non-combat troops seem to still be in Harm’s Way.

Now the Republicans are siding with Obama and deciding not to stop the tax cuts for the wealthy. These do not affect me but why should we punish the successful people in our society. The law of diminishing returns is going to come into play. The tax laws will force individuals to make selfish choices.

Where has common sense and basic fairness gone?

Why did the fish go to law school?

So he could learn about the scales of justice.

“One time a cop pulled me over for running a stop sign. He said, “Didn’t you see the stop sign?” I said, “Yeah, but I don’t believe everything I read.” “
